DLDAV Model School, Shalimar Bagh, Delhi organised ‘Arya Mahotsav’ under the leadership and guidance of our Principal Mrs. Reena Rajpal with great zeal and enthusiasm on the virtual platform. This three day event filled with various activities was celebrated on 3rd, 5th and 8th November 2020.

On this occasion our Principal Mam emphasized that this event will help in imbibing moral values in the younger generation to have a stronger Society for the better future. In her address she also told about the various intellectual, mental, physical and spiritual activities held in the school from time to time virtually due to pandemic in this session for the Holistic development of the students so that teaching-learning remains a joyous experience.

On the last day of Arya Mahotsav i.e. 8th November (Sunday) 2020 was graced by the presence of our esteemed guests Mr. Ajay Suri (Chairman of our school, Officiating General Secretary DAVCMC), Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj (Controller Of Examination, CBSE), Mr. Lalit
Kapil (RO, CBSE, Delhi West) and Mrs. Sneh Verma (Manager of our school). They all appreciated the efforts of the students. They showered their blessings on the students and wished for the school to attain greater heights. Many Principals of different Schools also joined the event. All the Parents and students of our school were witness to this new divine experience.

Arya Mahotsav showcased the events like students performing Yagya with their families. Soulful rendering of Bhajans, Chanting of Vedic Mantras, Live yoga were beautifully presented by the students. They also learnt about ayurveda and tips for a healthy lifestyle to be
followed from a talk show with an ayurvedic doctor.
Students motivated from the sayings and preaching of Legends of Arya Samaj took a pledge to work for the welfare of the School, Society, Country and World at the large.
