On March 24, 2025, an engaging orientation program for the primary wing was held in the Multiple Purpose Room (MPR) for the parents of students in classes 2 to 5 who had newly enrolled. The school counsellor Ms. Pooja Yadav took the first part of the session.
During this informative session, parents were introduced to the essential rules and regulations that govern daily school life, helping to foster a supportive environment for their children. Detailed academic guidelines were provided to ensure clarity on the curriculum and educational expectations by Ms. Harpreet Arora and Ms. Richa Kohli.
Madam Principal Ms. Reena Rajpal, along with Ms. Seema Aggarwal, the Incharge of the Primary Wing, addressed the attendees. They emphasized the importance of cooperation between the school and parents, assuring everyone that a collaborative effort would contribute to a smooth and successful academic journey for the students.

Orientation Program - Nursery Wing-An Orientation Program was organized under the able guidance of our Principal, Ms. Reena Rajpal in DLDAV Model School, Shalimar Bagh, on 26th March 2025 for the parents of Nursery Wing. The parents were briefed about the vision and mission of the school, which is to contribute meaningfully towards the holistic development and nation building by nurturing the children into compassionate and profound thinkers. Our curriculum, which is NEP 2020 oriented was explained. The school counsellor conducted an enlightening session for the parents.

An orientation programme for the parents of the upcoming class 9 students was held in DLDAV Model School, Shalimar Bagh, on 28th March 2025. Orientation session was taken by incharge Ms meru chandna & school counsellor Ms pooja yadav.The parents were informed about the new curriculum, new exam pattern, and the expected code of conduct. The significance of teacher parent partnership for the child's positive approach was highlighted. The session also incorporated adolescents' erratic behaviour and ways to deal with it. The negative and positive impact of social media on young minds drew spirited interaction by parents. The dialogue turned out to be informative as well as engaging for everyone.

The event aimed to familiarize parents with the upcoming transitional changes in both academics and extracurricular activities as their children progress in their educational journey.
The class teachers of Class 3 actively participated by leading a session dedicated to outlining these changes, providing valuable insights and guidance to the parents. Additionally, our school counselor, Ms. Pooja Yadav, facilitated engaging discussions and addressed the concerns of the parents, encouraging an interactive dialogue.

A meaningful career guidance workshop was conducted for Class X parents, focusing on helping them understand the process of career and stream selection.
The session, led by the Senior Wing Coordinator along with the Academic In-charges and the School Counselor, highlighted how psychometric testing and individual guidance support students in making informed career choices.
The interactive session empowered parents to play an active role in their child’s decision-making journey — because together we grow, and together we guide futures!

A vibrant two-days educational and entertaining camp was organized at DLDAV Model School, Shalimar Bagh on October 25th and 26th, 2025, under the leadership of Principal Ms. Reena Rajpal and Primary Incharge Ms. Seema Aggarwal. The excitement began as the children of Class 5 were warmly welcomed by the enthusiastic staff, who adorned them with traditional “teeka,” presented them with flowers, and set the tone with uplifting music.
The camp was packed with a variety of engaging activities designed to educate and entertain. The children dived into clay modeling and craft work, allowing their creativity to flourish. They also participated in a lively Zumba session, which filled the air with energy and laughter. A highlight of the camp was a visit to the recycling plant located within the school premises, where students learned about sustainability and the importance of recycling in a hands-on environment.
In the evening, the children embarked on an outing to the magnificent Birla Temple. The next morning was filled with anticipation as the campers gathered for a rejuvenating yoga session led by instructor Ms. Daisy Aggarwal. This activity focused on promoting mindfulness and physical health, setting a positive tone for the day ahead. After a nutritious breakfast, the children were energized for more learning. They played a number of indoor games and enjoyed a lot.
The event culminated in a closing ceremony, where Ms. Reena Rajpal and Ms. Seema Aggarwal expressed their heartfelt appreciation for the children’s enthusiasm and participation throughout the camp. They were presented prizes for different competitions too.
This two-day camp proved to be a resounding success, leaving the children with cherished memories, newfound skills, and an enriched appreciation for creativity, teamwork, and the environment.
