On 13th August 2026, the Interact Club of D.L.D.A.V Model School, Shalimar Bagh conducted an Organ and Tissue Donation Awareness Assembly, in collaboration with DOE, as part of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare’s nationwide “Angdaan Jeevan Sanjivani Abhiyan.” 
Linking the spirit of Independence Day with service, humanity and sacrifice, our members helped students understand how one decision can change countless lives. The session concluded with an Organ Donation Pledge, reminding everyone that true freedom lies in giving life to others. 
Awareness doesn’t stop here — the message is now being spread further through our school and club networks, because every act of donation is a step towards a healthier, kinder tomorrow.
Under the visionary leadership of Principal Ms. Nisha Sharma and the guidance of Interact Club Teacher In-charge Ms. Pooja Yadav, DL.DAV Model School, Shalimar Bagh, proudly hosted the Installation Ceremony of the Interact Club for the session 2026–27 in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Delhi Maurya, RI District 3012. The ceremony was graced by Ms. Shweta Gupta, President; Ms. Ritika Gupta, Social Secretary; and Mr. Mohan Nagpal, Foundation Chair, whose inspiring presence encouraged students to embrace the values of leadership, service, and social responsibility. The newly elected office bearers were formally installed and took the oath to uphold integrity, teamwork, and the Rotary motto of Service Above Self. A special highlight of the event was the presentation by the outgoing Interact Club team, showcasing the impactful initiatives undertaken during their tenure, including Mental Health celebrations, collaboration with Rahat NGO, joint activities with Interact Clubs of various schools, and engagement with Rotaract clubs at the college level. The presentation inspired the newly inducted members to continue the club's legacy of compassion, leadership, and meaningful community service.
Click to view pics- On 26th July 2025, Saturday, during the Parent–Teacher Meeting, the Interact Club successfully organized a Rakhi stall under Project Bandhan in collaboration with Udai NGO. The stall featured 102 beautifully handcrafted Rakhis made by children with special needs from Uday NGO. All Rakhis were sold, and the funds raised will directly support the children’s therapy, education, daily care, and overall well-being. Parents enthusiastically participated, appreciating the meaningful cause and expressing their desire to contribute. The initiative not only raised funds but also created awareness about the talents and needs of children with disabilities. The event was a heartwarming success, reflecting the spirit of compassion and community support. Wea re very happy to join hands with Udai NGO.

Interactors of DLDAV decided to involve students from all the classes of different age groups into their project to help them grow together and to make a significant impact in the society.
