On 7th October 2023, DL DAV Model School Shalimar bagh in collaboration with FIIT JEE and AAKASH, hosted a workshop for parents of class X with the objective of assisting parents in aiding their children in making informed career choices .
Experts from FITJEE and Aakash institute along with Ms. Pooja Yadav, the school counselor, provided valuable guidance to parents regarding stream selection process, various courses available and the plan of heading after 10th class .Heads of all streams also provided insights into the different asepcts of each stream in detail.
Workshop for creating awareness about CUET was organized by school in association with Career Tracers for class XI students to motivate them about the importance of early preparation for entrance exams on 26th September '23.
As part of the career fair Infinitum, an interactive session with a team from Indian Navy was organised for the students of Classes 10,11 and 12.
