In order to ensure strict compliance of the Protection of child from sexual offence (POCSO) Act 2012, POCSO COMMITTEE is constituted for academic session 2019-20.
With the objective to keep a check on the increasing cases of physical and cyber-bullying of students and to help the students in distress, school has formulated ANTI BULLYING COMMITTEE, as per CBSE guidelines.
The school is strictly prohibiting bullying inside the school premises and no such act will go unnoticed or unpunished. The school can take strict actions, against anyone found bullying, ranging from a written warning to even rustication of the student.
School had also constituted Schools Inclusion Committee to address issues concerning children with Special needs and provide various exemptions for children with special needs to ensure their active and successful participation in school system.
DLDAV Model School, Shalimar Bagh is a tobacco free educational institution. We are committed to spread awareness on this very important issue of tobacco control specially among adolescents and young adults. Numerous activities are carried out round the year to promote awareness about harmful effects of tobacco. Posters on this theme have been displayed in the school premises.
